No One Cares 02:50
Gotta grab my tooth brush and brush the tartar away. Today is a new day closer to the end of it. And I won't let it slide, I've only got 24 hours to make it mine. Gotta go grab my coat, it's getting chilly outside, although it's about time it almost makes me sick. 'Cos that means summer's gone, and all of my Ironic t-shirts are retiring. Don't ask why, I don't know the reason I, Have to act like I love it where I am. It's a lie, forgive me for telling lies, But at least I've come to realize it instead Of going on like I'm alright. Gotta go catch the bus, I've missed it once before, The boss said that one more time might be The end of it for me, But that might be alright, I've only got 80 more years, So let's make 'em fun. Do you really have to ask, how much sugar or cream? Don't you know I like it black? It's an every day routine. Don't ask why, I don't know the reason I, Have to act like I love it where I am. It's a lie, forgive me for telling lies, But at least I've come to realize it instead Of going on like I'm alright.

I feel the sun on my shoulders, I feel the wind on my cheek, And it's alright, it's alright, It's just fine, To be standing here, Watching the waves on the beach. Doo, doo, doo And I am feeling more alive, than I ever, have before. And I am swallowing my pride, It's only you that I adore. Doo, doo, doo

This is my happy song, And I will sing it every time that I'm sad. And it's okay to sing along, 'Cos every word is made to bring out, The sunshine in your day. I'll sing about the blue birds, I'll sing about the blue skies up above, I'll sing about the pictures, That I took out at on the beach, With my legs covered in sand. And oh, oh, oh, How the time goes fast, and slow. And it's okay to take a single day to reflect, All the good things in the world. Flowers come in spring and go in fall, But that's alright because I love to color red, Although I really love to cannon ball, When I'm out swimming with my friends. And oh, oh, oh, How the time goes fast, and slow. And it's okay to take a single day to count, The colors of the rainbow, Oh, oh, oh, How the time goes fast, and slow. And it's okay to take a single day to reflect, All the good things in the world. A baby's laugh, A new born pup, Your favorite song, Your favorite book, A wedding ring, A flower bloom, A butterfly out it's cocoon, A summer's day, A winter's night, You remember a joke and start to smile, A true love's kiss, A good pair of jeans, A miracle, A kid with a dream, A fairy tale, A song of hope, A shooting star, A lightning bolt, The cancer's gone, The mute can talk, The deaf can hear, The lame can walk, Oh, oh, oh, How the time goes fast, and slow. And it's okay to take a single day to watch, The sunrise in the east. Oh, oh, oh, How the time goes fast, and slow. And it's okay to take a single day to count, All the good things in the world.

about

This EP is the story of a man who woke up not noticing that today will change his life. He obviously wants a change, but has given up on the chances. To get away from it all he quits his job, and travels to the nearest beach, when he sees the horizon, and the suns rays reflecting off of the waters. He basks in God's glory, and the wonders of the world that he encounters, and his heart is changed; no longer heavy, but light, because he's been shown the light of life. God changed his heart that day. He then goes to reflect, and count all of his blessings and all of the beautiful things the world has to offer, almost nostalgic. I hope you enjoy this story just as much as I enjoyed putting it together. I promise I didn't make this story up on the spot, I've had this thought up for months. Also, I love you.
